There's some new Jizzy stuff out. Adlers Appetite EP is out now. I like the tune "Empty" Jizzy is definitley one of my fav singers, so I may have to pick this up. They should of stuck with the name Suki Jones IMO. The CD cover is totally budget aaaeeeyyy.....

"Empty" is great...I can definitely relate to that song. "Suicide" rocks my ass off. I can't wait to hear the rest of the CD. I hope to be able to pick one up at their shows this weekend, and if I do, I'll tell y'all how it is. Very stoked to be seeing those boys again.
Speaking of Jizzy though, Mr. Pearl is also hard at work at solo album #2. If it's even half as good as his first one was, it's gonna kick some MAJOR ass.

Hey Punki, do you know where I can get a copy of Jizzo's CD. It's sold out on his website and Ebay is a bust as well. I never got around to ordering awhile back. Where did you here he's doing solo CD two? That's cool news. I'd rather hear new stuff than bands rehashing stuff.
Other than eBay, there's pretty much no other way to get your hands on it these days. I could try and hook you up with a copy of it tho, if you want. I don't have a burner of my own, but I know I could probably copy it at a friends' (*coughGlitterNStarzandSmokenAngelcough*) place or something.
As for the info on disc #2, Jizz has been giving studio updates on his messageboard regularly.
The song "Empty".....where have I heard it before? It's driving me nuts, but I know it was on some other demo or something. was it an old Rubber song? BBB? I'll have to check when I get home, if nobody can tell me.
Yeah, "Empty" was an old Rubber song that they redid, much like PBF did "Shut Up" when KK was in the band. Both great tunes. Gotta admit, the man can write songs. Jizzy made his voice sound real close to how Rubber did it too. That guy has a hell of a voice. Did anyone ever hear Ratt when he was fronting it? Did he sound like Pearcy? I saw LA Guns when Jizzy was singing, and he sounded good then.
Just A Boy is Jizzy's best album since Wasted in America.
Bit confused about the forthcoming Adlers Appetite tour as it says they are only playing the Appetite album and a few Love/Hate and Faster Pussycat tracks.

On two things here:
I'm not sure why the AA shows are being promoted that way there. My guess is a promoter making assumptions. There sure as hell won't be any FP tunes, as Brent is no longer working with the band, from what I've heard. Also, AA will most likely do songs from the EP, GNR stuff, and maybe some other covers (AC/DC, etc.). Hell, I'll find out for sure after this weekend...I'm leaving to go see them in Colorado shortly.
As far as Jizzy-fronted Ratt goes, I think he has enough of that rasp to make the songs sound close to they did with Stephen, but honestly, I think Jizzy is a far far better singer than Stephen ever was. Every time I've seen Stephen sing, he sounded strained and a bit "off". I've seen Jizzy perform upwards of 30 times, and I have to say, Jizz has had maybe one bad show out of all of those. And even when he sounds bad, he sounds better than Stephen ever has in the past 10 years or so.
